If I could give ZERO stars, I would! This was by far the worst restaurant experience I'VE EVER HAD! There was a 15 minute wait on a table for 2, when we asked about sitting at the bar (where there were several open seats) we were told ( by the 2 hostesses) it would be a while for the bartender to clean any seats. We aksed how difficult it is to wipe the bar top so we can sit and we were told she's busy with pouring other drinks and it's going to be a while so we have to wait if we want to sit at the bar. Right in front of us we see her standing, talking not making any drinks. #RIDICULOUS

MoreOur experience was horrible. Wear your winter coat because it is freezing in there. It took an hour and twenty minutes just to get our salads. We were there for over 2 hours. People that came in 30 minutes after us were served well before us. We called the manager over and all she said was that they were sorry. The food was actually good ...once it arrived at our table. They didn't even comp us a round of drinks ...and our bill was over $300.00. We won't be returning...

We have always had terrific food and great service when eating there. Woodfire is expensive but I never minded spending the money because the food and service were impeccable. Not the case on Saturday. We had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food and when mine finally came it was room temp and tough like it may have been heated up in the microwave a few times. Our waitress was fantastic and even though we were grumpy and hungry she continued to come to the table and fill our water glasses and ask if we needed another drink but the kitchen was SLOW, very slow and again i think they warmed my plate in the microwave because my food was tough. I have driven to Northwood from Dexter just to eat at Woodfire Grille but after this last time i am not too sure. When you pay that kind of money you expect better.
MoreI had the walleye sandwich. It was the Filet-o-fish+. I could eat it, but I didn't really enjoy it. The "steak fries" were very explicitly not steak fries. Had to wait a half hour and service was slow when it wasn't even busy. Had to send my drink back once and that's just the tip of the ice berg. Decent drink special saved a star.

MoreThe bar area was pretty empty which was where we were heading to have dinner and drinks when the hostess rudely stopped us and said "we are not seating anyone because the bartender is having a hard enough time keeping up". So we asked if could sit at a table and she said "we aren't seating anyone until 9PM" which was 90 minutes away. So we decided to leave the casino altogether.
MoreA nice restaurant should have nice food and beverages. The chicken taste like rubber and the wine is 7 dollar a bottle stuff for 10 dollars a glass. The waitress is nice but obviously knows noting about wine or food. This place needs better training and better food if they want to attract people who will pay for fine dining.My personal opinion is poor management.

Upon having reservations, nobody sitting at the bar, they said I can't go in until they clean the bar. Took 20 minutes. Only for them to tell me at that point they were out of prime rib and lobster. Happens every time. Then I got seated at a table, and it took 20 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge me sitting there. Worst corrupt service I have ever seen
